Have you ever noticed how a tattoo suits the girl wearing it? Its uncanny how when a girl decides to have a tattoo they are drawn to a design that has their characteristics and personality, often without them even realizing. Men tend to have tattoos as a spur of the moment decision that represent them at that particular stage of their life or perhaps because of a life changing experience such as falling in love or becoming a father. Girl tattoos on the other hand are usually given lots of consideration and thought and this is probably why the relationship between design and girl is so close. Have you ever watched a dragonfly dance around a pond? They have speed, agility, stamina and beauty. Try shooing it away from your picnic and you will also find they are stubborn little critters who won't be put off their activities and have a persistence to them that can only be admired. Girls with many of these charactaristics will be drawn to dragonfly tattoos. The beauty which is a butterfly emerges from the caterpiller and the girl who feels she has matured into a lady and is proud of what she has become will be attracted to a butterfly tattoo. A woman with a free spirit, with a love of the countryside and an understanding of mother nature will find the butterfly tattoo hard to resist. Its not only the design choice that can represent a girls character. The positioning is also important when it comes to girl tattoos. A day dreamer and romantic will often wear her tattoo on the shoulder. Girl tattoos below the navel can mean an innocent and trusting quality while the lower back tattoo shows strong faith in her beliefs and convictions and is not one for being easily led a stray. The butterfly or other creature tattood to the breast shows a motherly instinct and of being at peace with nature and her life. There are of course thousands of different girl tattoos and most will say something about the wearers personality. Even if she didn't know it at the time she will come to look back on the period of her life when she had it done and perhaps realize why she was drawn to that particular design. Next time you approach a girl and you see she wears a tattoo, think about what the design represents and then compare it to her personality and put the theory to the test yourself, it works.
