How To Make Fast Money Selling Online

Like many people, I was fed up with Corporate America. For years I had dreamed of owning my own online business. But I was stuck. I did not think legitimate at home jobs really existed.

Sure, I saw all the advertisements online, but heck, I had no clue as to what a domain was. Not only that, there are so many scams online under the guise of "money selling websites" and other promises of riches to be made overnight.

Fed Up With Online Scams

I cannot begin to tell you how many times I have spent money on an advertisement online that promised I would make fast money selling online. Looking back, I realize how gullible I had been. In addition, those ads elicited that aspect of my character that wants something for nothing.

I almost became cynical in my search for legitimate at home jobs. I so badly wanted to find a program online that would actually teach me how to start my own online business from the ground up.

Here is what I did:

1. I got realistic
2. I got rid of my something for nothing mentality
3. I got selective about what ads I answered
4. I got very clear about what I wanted

Here was my criteria:

1. The job had to advertise as "legitimate at home jobs"
2. They could not promise overnight riches
3. The website had to have a comprehensive outline as to how it could actually help me start my own online business
4. The website had to indicate that it was able to show me how to start my own business from the ground up

Once I had standards, the pickings became easy because those 4 criteria weeded out a lot of ads that were not advertising for legitimate at home jobs. Rather, they were advertising scams.

However, I did come across a free forum that looked reputable. It was informational, did not promise me a "get rich quick" scheme, and gave comprehensive details as to how it could help me start my own business. I had never seen a forum online that actually showed people how to start an online business without overhead cost! I was elated.

I had never heard of affiliate marketing before. I did not even know what a domain name was. I joined free affiliate marketing forums and asked lots of questions about how to become an affiliate marketer to make money selling stuff online.

I Made Tons Of Sales Through Article Marketing

I am an excellent writer, so I chose article marketing as a means of driving traffic to my affiliate sites. I was amazed that I could make so much money without having my own website.

I was also amazed at the amount of support and free help I received on these affiliate marketing forums. I began to wake up and look forward to the day I could quit my job. I kept up my pace of writing 5 articles a day. I continued posting to the forums with my questions.

I Left Corporate America And Never Looked Back

Without any money, I was part of a knowledgeable affiliate marketing forum that supported me every step of the way to make money selling affiliate products. Some of these members had been new to the internet marketing scene and others were pros who still needed help.

Six months later, I left Corporate America and never looked back. I went from not knowing what a domain name was to owning 3 affiliate marketing businesses. Now I work exclusively from home. I wake up when I feel like it, go to bed when I feel like it, and work in my pajamas if I choose to.

No more crowded trains, no more nasty bosses, no more office politics, and no more being afraid to lose my job. All of this happened because I learned how to make money selling online.
