How to Spot a Rebate Processing Scam

By: Steve Albright

The latest eBook to come out from the company that brought you the infamous rebate processing scam is now called Process Affiliate Rebates. Many have fallen for the original version of this scam and have lost countless amounts of money.

In this new version the only thing that has changed is the title of the program and the layout of the website. They also changed the actress that is playing Diana DeAngelo from the previous girl they used selling the rebate processing program.

This company has been doing this bait and switch for a long time now and has become proficient at jumping ship when the heat catches up to them. In this book they make many promises of how much easy money you can make from the internet and how you'll be able to quit your job in no time.

The truth is that they are overcharging naive people for a basic internet marketing course, in fact it is the same one they have been selling this entire time under the guise of different names. However they never tell you the full costs and the amount of work it takes to run a successful affiliate business.

This whole bit about rebates is just a sales strategy to get people to believe that they are buying into a real job and not just another work at home opportunity. In reality the only times you will be processing a rebate is when you offer a discount on a product that you are marketing.

If and only if someone buys that product at a discount rate you then pay them a portion of your commission as the rebate. Thus Diana DeAngelo is basing her whole program around a marketing strategy. However she fails to point out that you need a lot of money to invest in the advertising of these rebate offers.

In reality out of the thousands of people who have fallen for this program there is overwhelmingly negative feedback. Most people have commented that they felt completely ripped off and that the where mislead into buying this opportunity.

To make matters worse once Diana has your personal information she sells it to private business consultants who will call you asking for additional investments of several thousand dollars. Overall this book is not worth the hassle that this lady will put you through. Also the information found in her book can be easily obtained online for a fraction of the cost and without all the headaches. It would be wise to pass up on this opportunity and focus your attention on more worthy pursuits.

To recap watch out for programs offering anything to do with rebate processing and that have a similar layout to Diana DeAngelo's page.
